Every child deserves the chance to shine, to learn in their own way, and to thrive beyond the classroom. Yet for many families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), afterschool and holiday activities don’t always meet their child’s unique needs.

At Thrive Academy, we were born from a simple belief: SEND learners need more than care – they need opportunities to grow, express themselves, and build confidence in safe, nurturing spaces.

Our founder, with a background in education, and community development, witnessed the struggles many parents face—balancing school support, limited afterschool options, and the need for specialised, accessible programmes. Thrive Academy was created to fill that gap.
